30 Days

An unscripted, documentary-style program where an individual is inserted into a lifestyle that is completely different from his or her upbringing, beliefs, religion or profession for 30 days.

30 Days (2005)

Morgan Spurlock, director and star of the critically-acclaimed documentary "Super-Size Me," brings his investigative filmmaking to the FX Network with "30 Days." In each episode, Spurlock asks an ordinary American (or two) to step out of their comfort zone and live in someone else's shoes for 30 days' time (the same amount of time Spurlock himself subsisted on McDonald's food). Among the switches are a diehard Christian living as a Muslim, a conservative Midwesterner living with a gay man in San Francisco and a pair of friends from New Jersey living "off the grid" in Missouri.
