| | Alien Nation (1989)In this futuristic cop show, The Newcomers are aliens from the planet Tencton whose spaceship (a slave ship) crash landed in the Mojave desert in the early nineties. Now 1995 (the near future, as the show aired 1989-91), the plot of the series revolves around Newcomer George Francisco and his partner Matt Sikes, who are both Detectives for the L.A.P.D. They clash on several levels, the least of which is not Matt's propensity to make rash decisions and violence vs. George's quiet introspective analysis.
