Children's animated series based on the Dreamworks theatrical film, "Evolution," about a meteor carrying alien organisms that hits the New Mexico desert. The aliens multiply and evolve at an alarming rate, threatening to take over the world. A community college science professor, his eccentric geologist buddy, a wannabe fireman and a government scientist are brought together to deal with the invasion. The series continues the story when a meteor carrying a single-cell organism from outer space crashes in the Arizona desert. The heroic foursome -- Dr. Ira Kane, a professor of chemistry and biology; Dr. Allison Reed, a ranking official at the Center for Impending Disaster (C.I.D.); Harry Block, a geology teacher and volleyball coach; and Wayne Green, a seventeen-year-old fireman in training -- reteam to protect the Earth. |
