A single optometrist relocates to Miami's affluent South Beach where her family resides. She opens a stylish optical shop with her best friend Renee and continues her endless quest for the perfect man. Carol must cope with her quirky family, which includes her swinger brother Vaughn, her younger sister, Jessica, who acts as if she's retired, and her eccentric parents, Al and Miriam.
