Asian Treasures is not made to be factual. it is made to entertain and to provide another look or twist into history. the good thing about the series is that it's using pop icon or pop info to come up with a totally different story that could attract kids and people of all ages. that is what story-telling is all about. elements such as magic is one key to attract viewers and who would want to watch full action on primetime?! another good thing is that its made closer to philippine context. they just have to work on the pacing of the show cause i find some scenes slow-paced.

i was disappointed when i watched the episode last night (jan. 29, 2007) elias(robin padilla) was gasping for air but the lighter is still lit... the writer or whoever is responsible for that did not do his job... you need oxygen to have fire... so the fact that the lighter is still lit only means one thing... you have oxygen

ung Asian Treasures fine naman xa.. actually ngaun ko lang xa napanood.. as in ngaung araw lang, dahil part xa ng task namin sa sociology.. nacurious naren.. bale sabi kc ng prof namen marami daw historical distortions.. and as far as history is concerned., marami nga.. cguro it will be better kung hindi niyo iibahin ung nilalabas na historical information sa fact na alam namin kase it greatly affects the effectivity of the program.. maraming students ang nanonood at umaasa na makakapulot sila ng aral or filipino values,, andun na tayo sa point na yun.. ayaw natin na mamislead sila.. on the other hand the actors and actresses naman are quite great in their acting and stunt-handling abilities kaya the show is greatly appreciated by most of its viewers.
that will be all and more power to you show..

please don’t include fantasies because it destroy the entire action-adventure genre of the show,,, the magic or the extra-ordinary powers of the sudama doesn't help actually, if their purpose is to attract the kids then they must think that, their prior reason in the making of the show is to make learning of history accessible to young viewers, it must be factual. Kindly remove "anting-anting and the power to disappear"
