Basil's Swap Shop

Based on the BBC Saturday morning show Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, which ran on BBC One from 1976 to 1982, it is hosted by television presenter Barney Harwood and Melvin Odoom, and stars veteran puppet character Basil Brush.

The new version of Swap Shop is broadcast live, and features games and comedy sketches, as well as the "swap shop" itself (the studio audience bring items to exchange for this feature), and lasts one hour. The series is set to run for thirteen episodes.

On Fridays a 30 minute cut down show is broadcast. This show is not live and is just the games from the Saturday version of the show "including the games, some of basils "Jokes" and a superhero sketch. This show does not feature any "Swaps" or the section of the show where the celebrity guest is asked quiestions by children who are placed above a gunge tank. The show is advertised as "Basils Swap Shop" in some listings however on air it is shown as Basil's Game Show.
