Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2008)

Batman: The Brave and the Bold

Batman: The Brave and the Bold is an American animated television series based in part on the DC Comics "team-up" series The Brave and the Bold. Like the comic series, it features two or more super heroes coming together to solve a crime or foil a super villain, but unlike the current comic, the cartoon focuses on Batman working with the different heroes.

Each episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold features main character Batman (In the form of his silver age persona) teaming up with other characters from the DC Universe to thwart characters or solve crimes. The show has no overarching story, instead having most episodes stand alone.

The show is purposely lighter in tone than previous Batman series, such as the critical and fan favorite Batman,[4] depicting the Dark Knight more lighthearted and playful with a "dry, ironic wit."
