Beautiful People (2005)

After her husband abandons her, a newly single mom and her two teenage daughters move from New Mexico to New York to take advantage of a private school scholarship for the younger girl. As the mother tries to make inroads as a clothing designer and the elder daughter attempts to extend her modeling career in a vastly more competitive market, the younger girl struggles to succeed at her tony new school, populated by wealthy and privileged "beautiful people."
