Beetlejuice (1989)

A Saturday morning cartoon series based on the 1988 hit film "Beetlejuice." The series chronicles the friendship between an eccentric con-artist ghost named Beetlejuice and a melodramatic twelve-year-old girl, Lydia Deetz. Much of the action centers on the surrealistic adventures that occur in the Netherworld in which Beetlejuice resides, and uses the literal interpretations of such expressions as "lost my head," "eyes glued to the TV," and so on, as sight gags.
