The series, set in the town of Indian Hill, tells the dramatic story of two lawyers: John Abbott, a retired judge, and Ben Jerrod, his young Harvard-educated assistant. Their first and only case: "The Janet Donelli Murder Trial." Episodes relate their defense of a woman accused of murdering her husband.
