| | Big Wave Dave's (1993)Three Chicago professionals abandon their corporate lifestyles to open a surf shop in Hawaii. All three have personal reasons for fulfilling their fantasy: Marshall Fisher has been let go from his father's law firm; Dave Bell is recovering from a broken marriage; and Richie Lamonica seeks to improve his self-image. Once there, they find their fantasy to be less ideal then they had pictured, especially when they clash with a local who thinks he's Jack Lord. With the encouragement of Marshall's wife Karen, the three decide to stay and make the best of their situation.
