Blackstar (1981)

While testing a spaceship, U.S. astronaut John Blackstar is drawn through a black hole and marooned on the planet Zagar. Shortly after, he is rescued from impending doom by the Trolletts, the tiny people who inhabit the planet. When Blackstar learns that the Trolletts are engaged in a battle for freedom against the Overlord, an evil being who rules by the might of the Power Star, he allys himself to their cause.The series depicts Blackstar's efforts, assisted by the Trolletts, to save Zagar from the Overlord's evil rule.
