Bonnie (1995)

Bonnie Kelly, an aspiring television reporter from a small town, struggles to succeed at a new high-profile job as a features reporter at a major Chicago news station. The series incorporates "live" unscripted remotes shot on location in Chicago as Bonnie and her cameraman, Tom Vandoozer, take to the streets interviewing unsuspecting Chicago citizens. Also working at the station are: Holly Jankofsky, Bonnie's best friend, who does hair and makeup in the newsroom; Bill Kirkland, the charismatic managing editor who Bonnie admires from afar; Diane Fulton is Kirkland's officious assistant who plants herself between Bonnie and her boss; Joe Briggs is the hard-nosed assignment editor; eccentric videotape editor Andrew Wiggins; and Sammy Sinatra, the coffee guy. Keith Jetzek is a limo driver who lives in Bonnie's building.
