CHiPs (1977)

California Highway Patrol motorcycle officers Jon Baker and Frank "Ponch" Poncherello cruised the L.A. freeways, solved crimes and helped out people in trouble in this fairly lighthearted cop show. The stakes weren't usually very high, the better to highlight the personal lives of Ponch and Jon and the sometimes-humorous situations caused by L.A. drivers.
