Four friends in their late twenties help each other brace the ups and downs of love and life in New York City. Annie O'Donnell is an upwardly mobile placement coordinator at a personnel agency who is hoping to find the right man. Annie's best friend and next-door neighbor, Didi, frequently offers her advice -- solicited or not -- on a wide variety of subjects related to dating. Roger, Annie's endearing, but socially unpolished co-worker is also in search of the perfect mate. Elliot, a co-worker and friend, is happily married so he has trouble keeping up with Annie's and Roger's list of do's and don'ts of dating in 1990s. |
