 ABS-CBN received the rights to show the 168 movies of Fernando Poe, Jr (FPJ). Dubbed as local films' most revered "king," FPJ has amassed a great number of works which is regarded in as one of the biggest and most important collections of cinema works. Part of "Cinema FPJ" are certified blockbuster movies, like "Panday," "Roman Rapido," "Eseng ng Tondo," "Dito sa Pitong Gatang," "Kahit Konting Pagtingin," "Isusumbong Kita sa Tatay Ko," "Agila," "Tatak ng Tondo," "Alamat ng Lawin," "Batang Quiapo," "Dalubhasa," "Ayos Na ang Kasunod" and "Muslim Magnum 357." FPJ produced and appeared in more than 100 films. He won many acting awards and was elevated to the FAMAS Hall of Fame for his performance in "Muslim Magnum 357," "Umpisahan Mo, Tatapusin Ko," "Durugin si Totoy Bato," "Asedillo" and "Mga Alabok sa Lupa." He used the pseudonym Ronwaldo Reyes when he directed his movies and he was also cited for his work behind the cameras, winning a best director award for "Ang Padrino" in 1984. |
