I was petitioned by my mom & when interviewed by the US Embassy for my visa luckily they also allowed/granted my 5 children an immigrant visas. Their father who's living with us for 22 years was left in the Phils. If I go back there, can I marry him and file a petition as my husband eventhough i'm only immigrant or do i have to wait for 5 years to become a US citizen first before petitioning him? Will my marriage to him affects my being an immigrant & or becoming a US citizen? Thank u very much & more power to your show. Godbless......

i have a question. my fiance will be filing for a fiance visa by next month but i see that affidavit of support will be submitted during my interview. he stayed here in the phils for 1 year since may 2007 and left last may 21 2008. technically, for the taxable year of 2008 that started january of 2008 until may 2008, he do not have an income in the US since we was here in the philippines. based on the poverty guidelines, when he files for an affidavit of support, he would need to meet at least the amount of the poverty guidelines based on his household. in his case, since he is in guam for a household of 6, he would need to have at least 35,500. which is kinda hard for him to earn in 6 months in guam. would it be ok if he has a business for a service and claim he earns so much money each month and pay the necessary guam taxes just for him to reach the 35,500 even if he is not really earning that much but he claims that he does and pays for the necessary tax that way when he files for the income tax return, it will show that he earned 35,500 for the year 2008?

i watch Citizen Pinoy every sunday at 8am but for some reason after salamat dok, it goes straight to balitang australia and Citizen Pinoy is no longer shown.my question is, my US citizen bf has been 8yrs married to her X wife and her her wife left the philippines last april 2008 with an IR1 visa. they got married here in the phils but in the middle of the petition, they broke up but he still pushed thru with the petition so that she can get there and help her family here. they have agreed to get divorced there by june 2008. my bf who is now in guam filed for a divorce and the x wife signed it already. guam divorce only takes 2 weeks and once we get the court order of the divorce, he will be filing for a fiance visa for me to get to the US. will there be any conflict when he files for a fiance visa for me since our relationship was ongoing in the middle of his petition for IR1 visa for his x wife that is now in the US since april 2008?

I've been interviewed by the U.S. Embassy last July 18,2008 but sadly i was not given the immigrant visa that i was hoping for the reason that i was not adopted by my petitioner (my grandfather) before i turned 16 years old according to the consul. My adoption was finalized when i was already 16 years old and 6 months. Why did they approve the application in the first place in 1995 just to make me wait 13 years and just deny my visa for that reason. Thanks. More power to Citizen Pinoy!

i have a multiple us visa at mag-1 yr na. because of my hectic schedule in our business i could not able to travel. if my children try to apply a tourist visa, will they be given a chance? thnks.. Godbless

I am a US citizen and I want to petition my biological mother.. we were adopted by our grandparents when my dad passed away.. they did that so we can have a better life here in the US.. is it possible to petition my biological mom? do legal action do i need to do because she is no longer registered as my mom on my birth certificate?

I applied for a visitors visa last May, 2007. I was asked if I have a pending petition, I answered no. At that time I did not know that I was petitioned by my mother. I heard in one of your episodes a similar case. The only difference is that in your show, the applicant knew she was petitioned, I did not. you said that she will be charged with fraud and will not be granted a visa ever again. You also said that there could be a remedy via fraud waiver. My question is, how can I know if indeed I was charged with fraud? What is my remedy? Will it help if I asked that my petition be canceled? Can i apply for a visa again?

Hi Im Eddielyn Salazar 20 years old. I came here in the US last May 2007 as a dependant of a foreign government employee. My boyfriend which is a green card holder wants me to obtain a green card too but we are wondering if that is possible eventhough he is only a green card holder. If we get married will i be able to get a green card? Can he petition a fiance visa for me eventhough we are both here in US? hoping for your response. Thanks

I am seeking for a better way to immigrate to Hawaii (USA). I am a member/son of an F4 preference category that was approved last 2 years ago in 20 years after the family petitioned was filed. Both of my parents were only qualified and no one of the family members approved due to over age or 21 of age above at that time of visa approval.. Is there any chances to appeal the time of petitioned was filed that i was below 21 years of age at that time?.. How would i pursue the above preference as a child of the principal applicant who are now in hawaii?
Please, may i have your advice....

Good Day! Im Joann from Laguna, 27 y/o, single. Ask ko lang kung bakit hindi na chine check ang documents ko during my interview? Basta na denied na lang ako..this is my 4th time na.. Lahat ny family ko may US Visa na.. 10 years sila multiple entry... just wondering why hindi ako mabigyan?

Good Day! Gusto ko lang sana itanong kung bakit 4x na ako nag apply for visitor visa sa US pero palage ako denied! Grabe.. sorry to say.. nakakainis na talaga.. Napaka unfair ng mga consul! Grabe hindi tinitingnan ang documents ko! Palageng sabi nila hindi ako babalik ng Pilipinas! which is SO FALSE! Why? May family business kami dito and to prove that nasa mga dous ko. SEC, DTI, atbp! Stockholder ako at Corporate Secretary ng company namin, signatory ako sa 5 banko dito sa pilipinas.. Hello,my auntie married in a American and still waiting for the invitation from US Embassy for interview.US Goverment have already sent them a letter telling them application approved and they forwarded to Manila US embassy for processing they said it takes 2 month they got the letter from US Goverment last June but until now the don't got any letter from Embassy we don't know what to do,can you help us?thank you very much

I have a 15 yr old non verbal special child. He has a visitor's visa expiring soon and i wander if i have to bring him to the U.S.Embassy to renew it. He was given the visa last 1999 when my husband and I applied for our visas too but his was non appearance then.He has been to the U.S last year and we plan to bring him again next year. Thks
