Come Dine with Me (2005)Five contestants each cook a three course meal for a dinner party. The participants vote on the success of the evening, and the winner goes home with a cash prize. The show airs five times a week with each episode focusing on one of the five contestants, with the winner being revealed on Friday. The first three and a half seasons of the show followed the daily format, while the latter half of the fourth season introduced the show to primetime. In this season, the show was shortened to a one hour programme, broadcast once a week and only four contestants were used. Channel 4 renewed the show for a fifth season, which reverted back to the daily format. It started airing on August 25 2008, at the new time of 5:30pm. Season 5's primetime episodes began broadcasing in high definition. Note: For the sake of this episode guide, daytime episodes are named by the episode's host, primetime episodes are named by their location. This is simply to keep the guide looking neat.
