Cybill (1995)

Cybill Sheridan, played by Cybill Shepherd, is a forty-something actress living in Los Angeles. Past her prime, but still working in an industry that worships youth, Cybill has the remnants of her two failed marriages all around her. Her two ex-husbands, stuntman Jeff and novelist Ira are always there, sometimes sleeping on the couch. Also present are her two daughters, a grandson and Cybill's hysterical and slightly alcoholic best friend Maryann Thorpe, played brilliantly by Christine Baranski.
