Nick Marshall is judge, who was a cop and a district attorney. Now he has always had faith in the system but has seen that the system has eroded to be the point that the criminals know how to use it to their advantage. And after his family is killed he decides to go after criminals whom he believes escaped being prosecuted. He and three other people, Gibbs, a wisecracking street kid, Moon, a former con man, and Cat. When a criminal is brought before him and if he has to dismiss the case but is quite obvious that the person is guilty, they try to stop their next scheme or get evidence that is needed to convict them. During the second, they got a new member, Kelly, who is a P.I., who was a victim whose case he had to dismiss, who sought out the ones who wronged her. |
