Deadly Games (1995)

Dr. Gus Lloyd, a young scientist going through a bad divorce, invents an innocent video game in which all of the bad guys are people he can't stand including his ex-wife's divorce attorney, his former mother-in-law and the old high school bully. Fantasy becomes life-threatening reality when during a freak lab accident, the video game villains, led by the evil Sebastian Jackal, come to life and begin to play "the game." Jackal's goal is the ultimate destruction of everything beautiful and noble inthe world. Gus, his lab assistant Peter, and Gus' ex-wife Lauren Ashborne must join together just as they do in the game to combat the villains and save the Earth.
