 Known as the "Savior of the Police Force", high school student Shinichi is a famous detective who has solved many mysteries that have baffled even the police. One day, while out on a date with his girlfriend Ran, he discovers a suspicious man and follows him. Suddenly, Shinichi was attacked from behind by another man and was knocked unconscious. The two men fed Shinichi a pill. Fortunately, the pill was not fatal. Instead, Shinichi's body shrank to that of a 8 year old boy. To escape from the men's clutches and to hide his real identity, Shinichi changed his name to Conan Edogawa. He now lives with Ran and her incompetent detective father Detective Kogoro Mouri. Through Detective Kogoro, Conan continues to solve mysteries using devices made by Professor Agasa. The only people who know his true identity are Professor Agasa, his best friend Heiji Hattori and a few others. |
