| | FriendsLeft alone on a trip to Hong Kong, Asahi Tomoko portrayed by Fukada Kyoko of the “Ring 2” finds herself the victim of a purse-snatching. The police arrest the man she points out, but it turns out to be the wrong person: a young Korean man named Kim Ji-Hoon played by Won Bin of “Endless Love.” Despite his anger and humiliation, he takes her out to dinner since she has lost all her money. In return she agrees to model for his amateur film. Ji Hoon's dream is to become a film director. What follows is a magical and romantic two days. Upon returning to their respective countries, Tomoko goes back to her nine to five job and Andrew must resume studying so he can join the family business. But even the distance does not affect the growing feelings between the two. They begin to email each other through the help of Park Kyung-Ju, played by Lee Dong-Geon of Sweet 18. Tomoko and Jo Hoon rekindle their relationship despite the cultural obstacles. Marking the very first time in television history that a drama has been co-produced between Japan and South Korea, the story shows us that love has no borders.
