Season 1, Episode 13

While a man moves in across the street from Melinda, she notices that presence of a ghost as well. He turns out to be the grandfather of her neighbour's former girlfriend, who disappeared and is presumed dead.

Her grandfather promised to not rest until he finds out what happened to his granddaughter and therefore haunts the man day and night.

Melinda finally gets through to both of them and then they learn that the girl is not dead at all, but simply ran away from the very strict regime her grandfather made her live in after her mother died. In the end, everyone finds peace.
