A comedy series about a Japanese manufacturer who reopens an American auto plant where the local workers become oriented to the new management with hilarious clashes of traditions, cultures and egos. Out of this, a warm friendship develops between the beleagured Japanese plant manager and the lighthearted American employee liaison. In the premiere episode, Kaz, the long-suffering plant manager, is threatened with mutiny among the labor force, while the easygoing employee liaison, Hunt, submits hisresignation after a fellow worker is pink-slipped for not conforming to the workers's handbook. |
