TRIVIA: Production

When the show was in the process of getting written there were three working names for Hannah Montana they were the following: Ana CaBana, Samantha York and Alexis Texas. The writer was intended to use Alexis Texas but thought it would overrate Texas as a "hillbilly" state so before the pilot was shot they switched it to "Hannah Montana".
