Harry O (1973)

The series, first set in San Diego, then Los Angeles, follows the investigations of Harry Orwell, an ex-cop turned private investigator. While still on the force, Orwell is shot in the back and disabled. Rather than face a forced retirement, he decides to become a private eye.
