Matt Hawkes leads a unique group of law-enforcement officers, the High Mountain Rangers, in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Lake Tahoe. The Rangers rescue people in trouble and catch criminals, often with the help of Matt's brother, Cody, and father, former Ranger Jesse Hawkes.
