| | Honk, Toot & Swo-Swoosh (2005) Honk, Toot and Swo-Swoosh is a production of Creative Graphics of Mijdrecht, Holland, in association with Chocolate Moose Media of Ottawa, Canada. Firdaus Kharas of Ottawa was Executive Producer and Scripts and Voice Supervisor. Other Ottawa-based Canadians credited in the production include Robin Smith for all the voices, Andrew Huggett as music composer, Robin Dumas for audio post and GAPC for voice recording and audio effects. Honk, Toot and Swo-Swoosh is Holland's first 3D animated series. Designed to be the first television series watched by young children, Honk, Toot and Swo-swoosh is an entertaining and educational series for young children the world over. Children in countries as disparate as Holland and India have made this series their favourite. The series is currently playing in over 100 countries including on Disney Asia, Nickelodeon in the Netherlands and Australia, Canal J in France, TV2 in Norway, MNET in Africa and other broadcasters. The series features three enduring friends: Honk the car, Toot the boat and Swo-swoosh the helicopter. The setting is in fictional Springland, a happy, safe and idyllic country environment where Honk and his best friend Swo-Swoosh have lots of adventures and discover how to negotiate the correct way to solve everyday problems. Toot the Boat is an older male character always at hand to help Honk and Swo-Swoosh find the correct solutions. Through watching the trail and error activities of these playful and charming characters, young viewers are encouraged to develop both logical and lateral problem-solving skills. While being entertained, young viewers are presented with fun-filled, positive examples of how solution thinking can be forged in different everyday situations.
