| | House Husband (2005) The story is about a typical working man, Steven, who lives under a vague idea that his life has been unfair. He thinks that having to support his family means that he doesn't have to help around the house. His wife, Mina, asks him to pitch in but he considers this unfair and labels his wife 'demanding.' Whenever Steven wants to go out and have a good time with his friends, he lies to his Mina about it. He constantly thinks that Mina has an easier job to do, given that she gets to stay at home and work on keeping house. His notion of her work is that it is easy because no one makes any demands on her. In other words, Steven takes Mina for granted. That notion quickly changes when he resigns from his job over a disagreement with his boss, Jason. At the same time as his resignation, Mina applies for a job. She figures that their daughter Peachy is old enough to be left alone at home. Soon after, she becomes the sole breadwinner of the household. This role reversal is a rude awakening for Steven, who slowly begins to realize how hard it was to take care of everything in order to keep the house in good shape. Plus, he finds himself having to take care of Peachy, spending more time with her than he ever did before. Find out what happens when a macho man suddenly becomes a house husband in this funny and witty Korean series.
