| | Hustle (2004)A sophisticated band of con artists ingeniously fleeces the greedy and corrupt "marks" they encounter in London. Initially, they are led by Mickey Stone, a master of very complicated "long cons" whom the police acknowledge as being in a class of his own. When Mickey eventually heads to Australia to set up a major job, he is replaced by his protege, Danny Blue, an impetuous former pickpocket who unfortunately keeps forgetting to come up with a "Plan B" in case a con goes awry. Dapper Albert Stroller, a former American shoe salesman, is the veteran of the group, an experienced grifter whose job it is to "rope the mark" (pick out the right target). Ash Morgan, a born problem-solver, is the technical and practical brains of the operation. Cool beauty Stacie Monroe uses her feminine charms to ensnare unsuspecting marks and also serves as banker for the gang. Billy Bond is the newbie in the group, a former juvenile delinquent who now looks to Danny to teach him the more sophisticated tricks of the trade.These grifters all know that you can't cheat an honest man -- which is why they never try to do that.
