Gracie (KC Concepcion) and her mother Ramona (Ai Ai Delas Alas) are market vendors. In order to make ends meet, Ramona tolerates her daughter's determination to join numerous yet small time beauty pageants as winning a crown remains out of her reach. She finally wins a prestigious beauty contest however when she pretended to have a hearing problem just to gain the sympathy of the judges including famous action star Jeremy (Jake Cuenca) who happened to be one of them. As Gracie becomes an overnight sensation and she and Jeremy starts to get closer, she still continues to act deaf because she cannot afford to get caught. In this hilarious situation, how will Gracie face the challenge of acting as a deaf mute?
