but my husband works until 6:00pm so di n niya napapanood. Dito po s building, where we live, there

magkaroon ng replay sa gabi...Pls. sana the admin of GMA/ Imbestigador will give my simple
request a consideration. More power to Imbestigador AND TO GMA 7. Thank for always keeping

Subject: Impoliteness of DFA EMPLOYEES

http://forums.abs-cbn.com/thread/2196997.aspx

October 15, 2008. I arrived at DFA around 11 a.m.
From the gate, there are many people who will block you as if they are police or DFA staff that they
will command you to fall in line, and get the form from them. Many people don't know that
these people are just workers of photographers and travel agencies. In short, fixers! I don't
know why the DFA officials and the government do not prohibit this thing. Do these officials
receive something from these people?!

When I entered the line towards DFA, there were 1 male and
1 female guard checking the applicants' bags and documents. Ahead of me, there were 2 girls
who were being asked by the female guard to show their requirements because "escorts" are
not allowed inside. It took them so long to explain and this lady guard just kept waiting while the
line is getting longer. I wondered why she didn't tell them to stay aside while looking for
their documents to show to her and assist the next applicants, instead, she just kept standing and
doing something with her shoes. She was so slow while the line is getting longer. It was as if she
didn't care about the poeple in line.

On the processing department, it was past 1 p.m. when
I asked the guard that I will come in. He didn't allow me because according to him, it is
still crowded inside, instead, he told me to just sit outsdie the department and he will just call
me. Though I am confused (because how can he give attention to me while I will be with many people
outside and why he didn't want me to come in while I can just wait inside as I saw that there
were still places where I can sit inside), I just stayed away but I always look at his side and I
saw that there were many people entering the department already. It pissed me off because every
minute is very important to me. Though I have dysmenorrhea and felt like fainting, I still kept
working for my passport because I am in a rush, so every minute and every second is very important
to me. So when I approached him, and asked if "Maybe I can enter now?", I just entered the
department and he said ok.

I've waited for the line for the processing of my document. It
took me so long till it's my turn. I showed the girl at the window number 20 around 1 in the
afternoon my documents for lost passport. I had Birth Certificate from NSO, Certified True Copy of
Birth certificate, Police Clearance, NBI Clearance, Application Form, Affidavit and pictures. Then,
she asked for my 2 valid ID's, unluckily, I lost them together with my passport. I only have
company ID and TIN card, but she said those are not valid. She told me to get a voter's ID and
SSS ID, while I already applied for that voters ID few years ago, and until now, it's not yet
available, and as I have told her, I lost my SSS ID, how in this world I can provide those things
quickly?! So, at the back of my application form, she wrote that I have to bring Old School
ID/Yearbook which are also gone and if ever I can see some old things like that, they are in a
different name since I had discrepancy on my name since 2004.

I read again the List of other
supporting documents from the back of application form and it says there, Land Title and SSS E-1
Form which I have. I also noticed it says there, "Other documents that show full name and
birth details of applicant and citizenship".

So I went back home and returned to DFA at 3
p.m. with Land Title under my name and SSS E-1 Form as what I have read from the application form,
as well as my Transcript of record and Affidavit of Discrepancy. When I showed those to her, she
didn't accept them. She kept telling me to get the SSS digitized ID. That is stupidity
because why is it written at the back of their form that SSS E1 or SSS Digitized ID are supporting
documents and it says there Land Title. She said, I don't have signature on my land title
although it is under my name. Why in this world they put those things on the list as supporting
documents while they don't wanna accept them?! She still keep asking also for my old documents
(even receipts) which has my signature, while I told her that they cannot use it if ever I can
provide because they are all has discrepancy as well as my Transcript, that's why I just
brought my transcript and Affidavit of Discrepancy instead. I explained it to her but she just said,
"Basta, kelangan ko parin yung mga old documents mo." Then wrote at the back of my
applciation form as an additional to bring (5) old documents with signature 2005 - below"

My Lord! Why didn't she tell me those earlier?! I travelled far for those documents because I
am rushing! And why they didn't want to accept the Land Title while it is listed as one of the
supporting documents?! My goodness, I
wish they indicated at the supporting document "Deed of Absolute Sale", maybe this is what
they wanted, instead of Land Title!

I was hoping that at the counter number 7 with the male
staff can give me clearer explanation, but he also kept telling me to get an SSS digitized ID so I
can show them! Ang siga pa nila pareho mag explain as if kaming mga applicants pa ang may utang na
loob sa kanila. Grabeh talaga. When I asked
him if he's gonna take the orig documents ( I was hoping not because I am going to use them for
my visa) he asked me in return, "What do you want to get first, the visa or passport?"
Isn't it insulting? Then he just added at the back of my application form "Birth Cert.
Local copy and Form I-A. " he returned my documents and applciation form to me and told me to
not stay at his counter.

For what I've encountered, it made me feel questioning myself,
"Why do they seem very proud of themselves as if they are the boss, do they get a big salary
from DFA? Are they just really workers to serve the people or they are the owners of the DFA? Do
they know what their job is? Why can't they explain the things very well to the applicants?
Do they think they're dealing with people lower than them that's why they act like a
boss?

I hope that government officials will put a box where applicants can put suggestions and
comments with regard to their service, employees and facilities. Even their guard, if you're
gonna ask them something, de dead-mahin ka pa! Uunahin pa nila ang chikahan! And I also noticed,
ang aga nilang mag break, wala pang 12 at ang tagal mag open! Past 1 p.m.!

DFA officials, what
kind of system do we have here in the Philippines?
Sana mag karoon kayo ng quality employees who
can give quality service!
Nakakasuka!

I hope sir u may include in your investigative reporting the anomalies in DENR Namria. The
administrator and his contractors until now is corrupting government funds , thus they are gaining
so much wealth. I already reported this to PAGC and COA but I heard nothing about it. My
suggestion that you name the news as "the guardians of the president, protector of
wealth?"

Sir Mike,

I
am an employee of one of the big call centers here in cebu. It has come to our knowledge that not
all of the employees are honest and have undergone a normal process of hiring.

It was last august
that we have discovered/ heard news that a certain employee by the name of Vennis M. Suarez had a
faked TOR. but what surprised us was that she was not fired or reprimanded or anything. It also
turned out that she was the girlfriend of one of the officials of the HRD dept. In short they are
covering her up. Also some employees wasnt hired normally. It seems that some paid their way to
attain the positions that they have now. 15,000 PHP is the lowest for call center agent.

This is
unfair and unjust practice even for a prestigeous call center agency. I hope that someone here could
look up to this. With regards to this Vennis Suarez... she is currently applying to upgrade her job
status. It is really unfair because she had a fake TOR and yet she was hired, by the help perhaps of
this boyfriend from HRD

BEWARE!!!

there is this ad in manila bulletin saying that they need nurses and caregivers, no
need for hospital experience and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, they don't accept
walk-in applicants and resumes will be sent thru email.

after sending ur resume, they will txt u
saying u are selected as nurses/caregivers and to check ur spam or bulk msgs.

in the email.,
there it says the application procedures... no placement fee, no proccessing fee and no salary
deduction.. the only thing you will pay id 3000Php for the british english training that will be
held on saturday and sunday. the payment is thru GCash at any SM malls.

they will also txt saying
that the deadline for payment is tomorrow and the re are only 6 slots left.

these kind of scam is
really catchy especially for those unemployed ones., but please very careful with this kind of
stuff. they are fond of changing the names of the hospital so that they are not traced, the landline
and cellphone numbers are also changed but the address are always at makati city.

please stop
this kind of scam and i hope you will make action so that the victims are minimized. pity those
unemployed nurses and caregivers.!
