When Lara (Iza Calzado), introducing herself as Lorna, arrives at Nicholas' (Mark Anthony Fernandez) mansion to take signed papers, Nicholas asks her to accompany him in taking Vanessa (Sunshine Dizon as Sara), whose leg is severely infected, to the hospital. A disoriented Vanessa does not recognize Lara but she mentions her name while asleep. Nicholas hears this, and asks Betty (Jean Garcia) who Lara is, thinking she might be Vanessa's accomplice in taking his mother's jewelry and his money. Meanwhile, Yago (Mart Escudero) follows Karen (Jenika Garcia) to her night classes and is able to get more information from her teacher. Karen is unable to take an exam which might cause her to lose her scholarship.
