Investigative Reports (1991)

A long-running, Emmy-winning documentary series that explores foreign and domestic stories, including pieces that range from criminal cases to cultural trends. Host Bill Kurtis introduces segments and provides narration. Notable broadcasts have included `The Plague Monkeys,' a report on the Ebola virus; and `Uncle Ho and Uncle Sam,' about America's WWII alliance with Ho Chi Minh. `Investigative Reports' expanded to five nights in 1999, and in 2002 spun off `Cold Case Files.'
