Joyride is the story of young people on a journey of self-discovery, friendship and love as they go through teenage life on their way to young adulthood. At its heart is the story of Carlo and Jason, half-brothers who fall in love with the same girl, Nicole. Also on the ride are: Joeyboy a crass but charismatic taxi driver’s son who falls in love with Casey, a spoiled young girl who has a heart condition; Ken, Rene and DJ, 3 friends who grew up together and whose lives and loves cross time and again; Andrea, a lonely girl hopelessly in love with Ken; and Justin, the good boy from Canada who tames the heart of bad girl Vicki. Joyride is a fresh, touching, sometimes heartbreaking, and often amusing look at teenage life.
