The 7th offering of GMA-7's top-rating back-to-back afternoon drama, Kaputol ng Isang Awit is based on the 1991 blockbuster directed by Emmanuel Borlaza. It is a breathtaking story about two women who live in two different worlds but seek to conquer the same dream.

Kaputol ng Isang Awit brings together the country's future drama princes and princesses Glaiza de Castro, Lovi Poe, Marky Cielo and Jolo Revilla under the direction of Mike Tuviera. They will be joined by Tirso Cruz III, Snooky Serna, Leo Martinez, Gary Estrada, Isabel Granada and Tuesday Vargas, with Ms. Jennylyn Mercado in a special guest role.
