The story of Martin "Kaz" Kazinski, an ex-cop turned attorney who studied for the bar while serving a six-year prison term for auto theft. The series follows Kaz's adventures working for the Los Angeles firm of Bennett, Reinhart, and Calcourt as he attempts to help people in deep trouble.
