Life with Roger (1996)

Jason, a mild-mannered, thirty-something orthopedic doctor, inadvertently saves Roger, a wildly unpredictable guy from jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge. Roger, in turn, rescues Jason from a potentially bad marriage and they move in together and form an unlikely friendship.
