Eddie Sutton is a dedicated Southern California police officer who lives with his family in a suburban apartment complex. When the department offers him the chance to own the run-down crack house he just raided, Eddie jumps at it -- seeing it as an opportunity to take permanent root in a larger dwelling, and help his old inner-city neighborhood at the same time. However, wife Jenn (a nurse) and teenage kids Cassie, Tay and Lizzie are less than thrilled with Eddie's decision. Though the area is filled with danger, there are good neighbors around; they welcome the family's new commitment to the community. |
