Single dad Alex Rydell tries to juggle his responsibilities to his son, Sean, while taking over his high-tension new job as news director at a Los Angeles TV station, KXZX. His colleagues (and, in some cases, rivals) at the station include Harry Chandler Moore, the veteran anchorman; Ricardo Sandoval, a preening reporter and anchor; Nancy Lockridge, an ambitious young news producer; Liz Vega, a determined investigative reporter; Lou Waller, the sportcaster with a secret; and Marvin Seaborn, the arch-conservative commentator. |
