When Sun is attacked, tension builds between Jack, Locke, Kate, and Ana Lucia regarding the guns. It is revealed that Sawyer and Charlie had conned them all for Sawyer to gain control of the guns and Charlie to get revenge on Locke. In flashbacks, Sawyer reluctantly cons a woman he develops feelings for.
