Kids learn how to stay safe through this fun, informative interstitial series on Playhouse Disney. Smart children Lou and Louise share their knowledge about safety in a variety of areas like from the bathtub to the car. Lou and Louise are two schoolchildren who are highly knowledgeable when it comes to safety. Together with their dog Louie, they've formed the Safety Patrol. They share safety knowledge with their family and friends, and with viewers at home. In each episode viewers are encouraged to help them spot "safety violations" and to join them in figuring out safe ways to do things. They live at home with their Mom and Dad and have an older sister named Lulu. They often help their friend, Lester, and also often encounter Mr. Flickner, a jack-of-all-trades who does everything from driving their school bus to taking them trick-or-treating on Halloween. Lou & Lou: Safety Patrol airs daily in-between full-length programming in Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney block. The program is coded in schedule listings and can generally be caught at 8:25 A.M. eastern each morning. |
