Ang Ambush

Summary:

Robert and Jessica begin their charity projects for the the less-privileged in preparation for the next election. Jessica receives a call from Ramon, informing her that Bernard is getting in the way of their operation. Ramon fears that if Bernard gets too close, they might have a problem with Robert's candidacy. But Jessica assures Ramon that she will take care of her younger brother. Later, Jessica talks to Bernard on where he stands regarding Robert's political ambitions. Bernard promises his support, for as long as they are legal. Bernard then informs her older sister of an incident long ago, when he agreed to keep quiet about Jessica's misdeeds.

Margarita starts working in the club as a receptionist, and there she gets into a not-so-friendly encounter with Amanda, the big-headed diva of the club. Margarita sees no other choice but to work in the club so she can provide for her brother. However, she tells Didith that she is not yet ready to sit-in with customers. The next day, Margarita moves her brothers into a new house, but did not tell them where she got the money to pay for the rent.

While driving on the road, Carding and Rodrigo are ambushed by Ramon's hitmen. Carding fires back, and Rodrigo covers for his father. Rodrigo, however, gets shot in the back, and Carding rushes to his son's side. Ramon hurriedly drives by and shoots Carding at the back.

In the hospital, Rodrigo is devastated to hear that although his father might live, he may not be in a perfect shape. Margarita comforts Rodrigo in this challenging time, but Rodrigo vows that he will assure that those responsible will pay for their crimes. Bernard, on the other hand, receives a call informing him about the shooting.
