Mean Machines is back for a third season - but there's a big twist, and it's a "green" one! Now dubbed Mean Green Machines, new challenges this season will feature contests between original versions of super vehicles and their newer "green" equivalents. The toughest drag bikes, ATVs, SUVs, helicopters and trucks go head to head in a series of challenges that will determine which of them deserves to be crowned champion. Using combinations of history, engineering, speed, size, style and then live tests, each half-hour of the 10-part series builds to an intriguing and competitive exploration of whether green versions of vehicles can be as sexy, powerful and exciting as their originals.
