| | Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos? (2007) Prepare yourselves for another treat this month, as Sineserye Presents offers you another cinematic classic, ported to your television screens! This time, "Natutulog Ba ang Diyos", the timeless Lino Brocka masterpiece, gets the de luxe TV treatment! Based on, "Natutulog Pa ang Diyos", the original novel by Ruben R. Marcelino, the movie revolves around a young woman who was switched at birth. As such, what could have been a life of prosperity became a life of poverty! Meanwhile, the child who took her rightful grew up to be spoiled and irresponsible, but is secretly caught up in his feelings for her! This time, Roxanne Guinoo, Jake Cuenca, and Joross Gamboa, will step in the shoes of Lorna Tolentino, Ricky Davao and Gary Valenciano, three people caught up in a love triangle, all with important relations to one another! Roxanne plays Gillian, the rightful heiress of a wealthy couple, but was switched with Andrew, son of a driver and a maid. Jake Cuenca plays Andrew, who grows up to be irresponsible, but it turns out that he's secretly in love with Gillian. On the other hand, Joross Gamboa is Mark, who adds to the confusion, as he's Andrew's best friend, who also has feelings for the same girl. Jerry Lopez-Sineneng and Retchie del Carmen will take the reins this time, giving us a fresh look at the Lino Brocka classic. "We tried to stick to the film as much as we can, pero ginawa naming taong-tao ang mga characters," Direk Jerry explains, when asked what can we expect from the fourth Sineserye installment. He adds that the supporting characters' stories were made clear, and they made additions to the original cast, too. "It's a rollercoaster ride of emotions," Direk adds.
