 News Watch is the flagship of RPN 9 being its longest running program since 1960. It aired for 47 years until it was replaced in 2007 by i-Watch News. There were no word as to why the news program was cancelled seeing that it is the second oldest running news program in the country (The World Tonight reigns first). This news program is the English counterpart of NewsWatch Aksyon Balita. Before it was cancelled, it was previously anchored by Cristina Peczon, Eric Eloriaga, and Joee Guilas for the business segment of the program. |
