Ninety Eight Percent (2008) Set in the murder capital of Western Europe, the action packed feature length pilot for the series opens amongst the drugs and dirt and devious activities of Glasgow's criminal underworld where we meet the Spencer family, led by sociopath lesbian drug dealer Casey Spencer. The series follows the Spencer's and their rivals as they struggle to cope with life in one of the toughest cities in the world. The feature length pilot episode was filmed June-August 2007 in Glasgow's North side and Cumbernauld with co-operation and support from local businesses, organisations, sponsors and supporters, and aims to showcase the characters of Scotland's newest crime drama and set the pace for the series to come should it be commissioned for television. Feedback so far has been more than positive, coming from the likes of Scottish Screen and director Ken Loach. As accompaniment to the pilot a behind the scenes “Walkthrough” documentary has also been produced introducing the cast and characters. It features interviews with the cast, crew, series creator Michelle Martin and producer/director Frank McGowan.
