One Life to Live (1968)

Viki Lord Carpenter, the daughter of newspaper tycoon Victor Lord, is the backbone of Llanview, having been through it all, including suffering from multiple personality disorder for 30 years caused by being sexually abused by her father. Various classes and families make up the rest of the backdrop. Previously married to Clint Buchanan, Viki gave birth to Jessica. Clint adopted Kevin and Joey and also fathered Cord with another woman. The Buchanan family is the driving force in town, but other prominent families include the Gannons, the Cramers and the Vegas.
