While sightseeing in Egypt at the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Hal Sterling, an American engineer, his wife, June, and their three children are engulfed by a space time warp when an alignment of six planets occurs. A mysterious time portal opens and transfers them into the Otherworld, a world that resembles ours in appearance, but which has its own history and evolution. They encounter Kommander Kroll, a policeman who believes they are terrorists. The series relates the Sterling's adventures as they journey into various provinces of Otherworld, and attempt to escape from Kroll, who now seeks to kill them. |
